General information:

Chalet C12 is located in a quiet residential neighbourhood just 200 meters from the gondola that takes you to the Arinsal Pal ski resort. The Ordino-Arcalis resort is 20 minutes away by car. The entrance to the Coma Pedrosa Natural Park is within walking distance and Andorra-la-Vella is 8km away.   The South facing chalet is surrounded by 1000 square meters of private garden. It is not luxurious but very welcoming, clean and warm.

Some explanation is needed concerning this chalet which is run as a cross between a bed & breakfast and a catered chalet:

• We say bed & breakfast as guests share the living room, garden and dining area. The owners, Marie-Pascale and Alexis, live in the chalet but they have their private living area. It is what one calls a gîte or chambre d'hôte in France.
• We say catered chalet as breakfasts and dinners are prepared for you. You can also order tea and picnics.

Minimum service: half-board during high season, B&B for all other seasons.

Layout of the chalet:

Ground Floor:

• Garage for 3 cars, ski locker.

First floor:

• Entrance.
• Sunny South-facing living room and dining area with a view over the mountains and with direct access to the garden.
• Kitchen (off limits unless you want to help).
• Bedroom area: 1 double bedroom, 1 double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom , 1 bedroom with a bunk-bed and an en-suite bathroom. Maximum capacity: 6 persons. The hallway leading to bedrooms can be closed off with a curtain in order to increase privacy.

Second floor:

• Owner's living room
• Bedroom area: 1 double bedroom, 1 quadruple bedroom with 2 double beds, one bathroom. Maximum capacity: 6 persons. This bedroom area can also be closed of with a curtain in order to increase privacy.

You will NOT have to share bedroom areas or bathrooms with guests you do not know. Each family or group of friends will have their own floor. For example, a couple with 2 children would be given ALL the bedrooms on the 2nd floor even if the total capacity is for 6 persons.

The Meals:

Marie-Pascale enjoys cooking sophisticated and delicious meals which reflect her French nationality. She is also very flexible and adapts to her guest’s tastes and preferences. In other words "toad in a hole" or "grits" may need some explanation but the lady of the house will make it!

Enjoy home-made bread and jam, yogurts and cakes, international dishes and special desserts. Special menus and baby food on demand.
